Trauma Intensives and Couples Intensives in Elkhorn, NE serving all of Nebraska, Iowa, Colorado, Georgia, & Vermont
Does it feel like traditional therapy has let you down?
Do you feel like you’re just getting into the hard stuff in session, and then it’s time to stop? Maybe it takes a while to feel safe enough to open up… and just as you do, the hour is over. You’re ready to go deeper, to work through the patterns, pain, or disconnection that keep showing up.
But weekly therapy feels slow, and finding time for consistent sessions doesn’t always fit your life. The same arguments keep happening. The same wounds keep getting triggered. And it feels like you’re not getting far enough, fast enough.
Deeper Work. Faster Progress.
Trauma and couples intensives give you the time and space to move beyond surface-level work and create meaningful change.
Trauma Intensives
Trauma intensives offer something that weekly therapy often can’t: uninterrupted time to truly work through what’s been weighing on you.
Instead of just talking about your trauma, we’re able to stay with it, long enough to process the emotions, unpack the beliefs it created, and understand how it continues to impact you today. Together, we’ll begin to make sense of your triggers, shift the patterns that keep showing up, and create new ways of responding that feel more grounded and in your control.
While trauma work can feel slow and stop-and-start in traditional sessions, intensives create the space for deeper, more connected progress, so you can begin to feel like yourself again, sooner.
Couples Intensives
Couples intensives offer something that weekly therapy often can’t: uninterrupted time to truly focus on your relationship.
Instead of having to pause difficult conversations or wait a week to revisit them, you’re able to stay engaged in the work, learning new ways to communicate and putting those skills into practice in real time.
This experience is fully tailored to you and your partner. Together, we’ll focus on what’s most important, whether that’s breaking patterns of conflict, navigating hard conversations, rebuilding trust, or finding your way back to connection.
In a concentrated 2-day format (5 hours each day), you’re able to build momentum in a way that weekly sessions often can’t provide. And as you begin to implement changes, follow-up sessions are available to support you, troubleshoot challenges, and help the progress stick.

I only offer the 2 day, 5 hour a day for couples. But if you wanted an extended session to work on something other than trauma, that would be possible.

Yes, you are still in control of your treatment and just because you do an intensive, doesn’t mean that you only can do intensives.

It is unlikely that insurance will occur an intensive. I am not in-network with any insurance company but if you want to use your out-of-network benefits for an intensive, it is best to check with your insurance company first.
