When you’re used to holding everything together, it’s hard to admit when something isn’t working anymore.

From the outside, your life might look fine, even maybe successful. But internally, it feels exhausting trying to keep up with the pressure in your own mind and in your relationships.

You hold yourself to incredibly high standards. Even when you do something well, your mind quickly jumps to what you should have done better. You replay conversations and decisions in your head, wondering if you said the wrong thing or missed something important. Your mind rarely feels quiet. It’s constantly analyzing, planning, or trying to stay one step ahead.

Because of some of the things you’ve experienced, letting your guard down with people doesn’t come easily. You’ve learned to rely on yourself, even when it leaves you feeling alone. Sometimes the tension spills into your relationship. A small misunderstanding with your partner can quickly turn into a bigger conflict, leaving both of you feeling unheard, frustrated, or disconnected. Other times you notice yourself withdrawing or shutting down, even though part of you wants to feel closer and more understood.

At times, life starts to feel like you’re just going through the motions. You want to show up more fully at work, as a parent, as a friend, and as a partner, but something keeps getting in the way.

I believe that therapy should be the one place where you can show up as your messiest self. Because how can you learn to love that version of yourself if you never let it show? 

Because life is messy, sessions with me are flexible to accommodate your ever changing needs. I believe that deep work, venting sessions, and sessions celebrating the wins and progress are all productive sessions. I show up authentically with humor and honesty to honor your authentic self, whatever that may look like on any given day.

Whether you’ve experienced a single traumatic event, repeated painful experiences, or simply the stress of living in today’s world, trauma can leave a lasting imprint on your mind and body.

It may show up as constant overthinking, difficulty trusting others, feeling emotionally guarded, or reacting in ways that don’t feel like your true self.

In therapy, we’ll work together to process those experiences so they no longer control how you think, feel, and relate to the people around you.

Anxiety & Perfectionism

Letting go of your perfectionism can feel scary. You might wonder, “how am I going to push myself to achieve and be my best self, if I let go of it?”

In therapy, we’ll explore those fears together and gently examine how perfectionism may actually be limiting you, keeping you stuck in self-criticism, pressure, and constant overthinking instead of helping you feel confident and fulfilled.

Over time, you can learn to pursue your goals with self-trust rather than constant pressure.

Navigating differences in a relationship can be challenging.

When emotions run high, conversations can quickly turn into arguments, and miscommunication can leave both partners feeling hurt or misunderstood. Over time, couples often find themselves stuck in the same frustrating cycles.

In therapy, we’ll slow those patterns down so you can communicate more effectively, understand each other more deeply, and rebuild the connection that helps your relationship feel fulfilling again.
